Intended use
The LA series is indicated for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in patients weighing more than 30 kg (66 lbs). It is intended for home and hospital use.The humidifier is intended for repeated use by the same patient.
 
Contraindications
Patients who have the following pre-existing conditions may not receive the positive airway pressure therapy:
Dehydration.
Severe bullous lung disease.
Pathologically low blood pressure.
Pneumothorax.
Cerebrospinal fluid leak, recent cranial surgery, or trauma.                                                       

Adverse effects

Report to your prescribing physician and temporarily stop treatment if any of the following conditions occurs while using the device: severe headache, acute upper respiratory tract infection, or chest pain.
You may experience the following side effects while using the device to receive positive airway pressure therapy:
Nose bleeding.
Dryness in the throat, mouth, or nose.
Discomfort in the ear.
Bloating.
Skin rashes.
Irritations in the eye.
