Veinoflow SCD smart compression system DVT PE Pulmonary Embolism prevention
Model: LTLL-I5005
Veinoflow SCD LTLL-I 5005 smart compression system delivers compression to the leg/calf, foot, or both. It allows for foot only compression, leg only compression, or combined foot and leg/calf compression. It aids in the prevention of Venous Thromboembolism (VTE), including Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and Pulmonary Embolism (PE) in the at-risk patient.
It is the next evolution of IPC and is designed to increase the venous blood flow. It includes a flexible and transportable design, visible and audible alerts for any error, low noise, ease of cleaning, and a large touchscreen LCD display. The LCD display is easy to use even when wearing medical gloves.
The system consists of:
• The controller • Single-patient use leg garments and foot cuffs (purchased separately) |
Veinoflow SCD provides a number of unique treatment features for every patient. It's designed to monitor the rate at which the veins in the feet and legs refill with blood. This allows the machine to adjust compressions rates in order to optimize the amount of blood flow.
The system has also new feature that can be used to monitor the amount of time compression therapy is delivered either by shift, day, or during an entire hospital stay. It operates in the background, so that it does not interrupt normal operation.
Indications
• Leg compression:
Veinoflow SCD system's leg garment compression is indicated for:
Deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism prophylaxis
• Foot compression:
The use of the Veinoflow SCD system with Foot Cuffs is also indicated for:
(1) circulation enhancement, (2) Deep vein thrombosis prophylaxis (3) edema - acute, (4) edema - chronic, (4) extremity pain incident to trauma or surgery, (5) leg ulcers, and (6) venous stasis /venous insufficiency.
